National History Day
Students may select to participate in the National History Day competition. Students prepare papers, websites, performances, documentaries, or exhibits to demonstrate an understanding of a specific theme. This year the theme is Rights and Responsibilities. Students compete in the junior division if in grades 6-8 or the senior division for students in grades 9-12. The competition is generally held on the campus of Westminster College in early March. Students placing first in the regional competition at Westminster will be invited to present their project at the Pennsylvania State History Day competition held in May in Carlisle, PA.
