• School-based Speech-Language Pathologists diagnose and treat a variety of disorders. They work closely with other professionals, including teachers and school psychologists, to develop an appropriate learning environment and treatment/education plan that is most conducive to a student’s success, both academically and functionally. They focus much of their efforts on improving the following areas:

    • Communication
    • Social Skills
    • Articulation
    • Executive Functioning
    • Dysfluency (Stuttering and Cluttering)
    • Oral-motor and pharyngeal swallowing Function
