Ms. Darlene Wendrock

Ms. Darlene  Wendrock graduated from Lakeview High School in 1981. She attended Penn State University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and a minor in Political Science.  After graduation, Darlene spent 10years in San Antonio, Texas working as catering and convention service manager for Embassy Suites, Wyndham and La Mansion del Rio Hotels. Darlene married and moved to Raleigh, North Carolina where she continued in hotel management working for the Washington Duke Inn, and Hilton Hotels and later pursued a career in restaurants. Darlene served as General Manager  of Qdoba Mexican Grille in both Apex and Cary , North Carolina for seven years before returning back to her hometown of Sandy Lake, where she currently resides on the family farm. Darlene is the proud parent of her son Jonathan who will be graduating from NC State with a degree in Materials Engineering this year.
