Dr. Keith Wolfe - Superintendent

Dr. Wolfe comes to the Superintendent position with over 21 years of administrative experience.  Most recently, he served as Superintendent of the Cameron County School District for over five years.  Prior to that, he held the Superintendent position in the Punxsutawney Area School District for six years. Dr. Wolfe began his administrative career in the Brookville Area School District, first as Assistant High School Principal for four years followed by six years as High School Principal. 

Prior to administration, Dr. Wolfe was a music teacher for nine years. He began his teaching career in a long-term substitute position with the North Allegheny School District, teaching grades 3-8.  Dr. Wolfe then accepted the position of High School Choral Director in the New Kensington-Arnold School District.  During the seven years he worked in New Kensington, Dr. Wolfe held the positions of Music Department Chairman, Assistant Marching Band Director, Vocal Director for Musicals, Stage Crew Advisor, and Assistant Track Coach. 

Dr. Wolfe earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Education degrees and a Professional Certificate in Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Subsequently, he earned a Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership and a Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility through Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.  

Dr. Wolfe is proud to be a Sailor and is passionate about serving the students, families, and community. He is very excited and honored to work alongside the talented faculty, staff, and Board of School Directors at Lakeview.

He is the proud father of three grown children (Hunter, Ainsley, and Isaac), and spends a great deal of time volunteering as an Assistant Scoutmaster, Past Council President, and Executive Board Member in the Bucktail Council of Scouts BSA. He also enjoys spending time hunting, fishing, and hiking with family and friends.

Dr. Julie M. Lyon - Assistant Superintendent

Dr. Julie M. Lyon is a 1985 Cochranton High School graduate. She received her Bachelor’s Degree and first Masters Degree from Slippery Rock University in Elementary, NK-8, Education and Reading Specialist PreK-12. She has taught at the elementary level for 9 years in VA and PA. She received a second Masters in Educational Leadership from Shenandoah University in Virginia. She became an Assistant Principal at Rolling Ridge Elementary in July of 1998 in Loudoun County, Virginia. In August of 2002, Dr. Lyon became Principal at Hillsboro Elementary and then went to Catoctin Elementary as Principal in 2004.

Dr. Lyon relocated back to Cochranton, PA in 2006 and became the Principal at Saegertown Elementary for nine years. In December of 2007, she received her Letter of Eligibility from Edinboro University, Edinboro, PA. In July 2015, she was promoted to Central Office in PENNCREST School District as the Supervisor of Curriculum K-12 and Federal Programs for three years.

Dr. Lyon was appointed the Assistant to the Superintendent of Lakeview School District in August, 2019.  She is blessed to be in her 34th year in public education. She received her Doctorate at Liberty University in February 2023.

Dr. Lyon resides in Cochranton with her husband, Allen. They are proud parents of eight children; Rob, Amanda, Emily, Joshua, Jacob, Justin, Damian, and Carter.
