Mr. Kevin Boariu- Oakview Elementary Principal

Mr. Kevin Boariu is the Principal of Oakview Elementary School.  He is a graduate of Lincoln High School in Ellwood City and earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Slippery Rock University, obtaining teacher certifications in Social Studies and General Science. After graduation, Mr. Boariu was hired at Mark Twain Middle School in Alexandria, Virginia teaching science courses and served as a mentor teacher for the PEACE after-school program.
 
Mr. Boariu returned to Pennsylvania and joined the Lakeview School District as a middle school teacher in 2007.  During his time at Lakeview, Mr. Boariu taught courses in both the middle and high school and supported district programs through his involvement with the Cross Country and Forenics programs.  Since arriving at Lakeview. Mr. Boariu has attained his Master of Education degree at Clarion University and completed the Principalship certificate program through the Pennsylvania State University.  His educational interests include: multi-grade level flexible grouping, co-teaching, and educational technology integration 
 
Mr. Boariu is beginning his 13th year in the Lakeview School District and currently resides in Ellwood City. Outside of school, Mr. Boariu enjoys time with his Australian Shepherd, hockey, and is the co-director of the Stiefel Hockey League in Ellwood City.

Mrs. Nancy Keeling - Special Programs and Assessment Coordinator

Mrs. Nancy J. Keeling is the Special Programs and Assessment Coordinator for the Lakeview School District.  She is a 2001 graduate of Lakeview High School.  As a Sailor, Mrs. Keeling played volleyball, basketball, served on Students For Charity, and was active in many clubs.  She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Grove City College in 2005, obtaining a teacher certification in Elementary Education.  
 
Mrs. Keeling was hired by the Lakeview School District in 2005 as a fourth grade teacher.  After teaching fourth grade for four years, she served as a Title I Math teacher for the next 11 years.  Mrs. Keeling earned both her Master of Education: Curriculum & Instruction in 2008 and her Administrative Certificate from Gannon University. Mrs. Keeling's educational interests include: professional development, grant writing, schoolwide positive behavior, and STEAM integration.  Mrs. Keeling is the co-chair of the Lakeview Alumni Hall of Fame Committee. 
 
Mrs. Keeling resides in Hadley with her husband, Doug, and son, Jay.  Mrs. Keeling enjoys photography, creek walks, and family time.

Mrs. Julie Oliver - Administrative Assistant

Mrs. Julie Oliver is the Administrative Assistant for Oakview Elementary School. She is a graduate of Mercer High School.  She earned an Associate of Science Degree from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and was employed as a Respiratory Therapist at various hospitals while she and her husband were stationed at Army posts thoughout the U.S.  In 2007, she and her family moved back to the area. Prior to being hired as Oakview's Administrative Assistant, Mrs. Oliver worked as a paraprofessional in the district and her experience working directly with students is a great benefit to our entire team. 
 
Mrs. Oliver is beginning her 9th year in the Lakeview School District and resides in Sandy Lake with her husband Steve. They have three children, Paige, Claire, and Lauren.
