Mr. David Blakley - Principal of Student Activities & Athletics

Mr. David Blakley is a 1975 graduate of Butler Area Senior High School, and a 1980 Graduate of California University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Industrial Arts Education. Upon graduation from Cal U, Mr. Blakley accepted a position as a graduate research assistant at West Virginia University and received his Masters degree in Technology Education in 1982. While attending WVU, Mr. Blakley taught Technology Education at Cammack Junior High School, Huntington, West Virginia.

Mr. Blakley became a sporting goods buyer and store manager upon returning to Western Pennsylvania, later accepting a technology education position at Commodore Perry High School in 1999. Shortly after beginning school at Commodore Perry in 1999, Grove City School District sought his services as their technology education instructor at the middle school. While at Grove City, Mr. Blakley invested in the cross country program, yearbook, live video morning announcements, varsity football and basketball programs through announcing games and the high school and middle school theater departments through building sets for the plays and musicals.

In 2007,  Mr. Blakley completed his Principal Certification at Slippery Rock University shortly thereafter, he accepted the position as the principal at Lakeview Middle School. Beginning with the 2017-2018 school year, and the development of the middle-high school, Mr. Blakley will share principal duties with Mrs. Snyder. Mr. Blakley will be responsible for student activities and athletics, while Mrs. Snyder will handle academics. Mr. Blakley is also the District Safety and Security Coordinator.

Ms. Sandi Peach - Administrative Assistant

Ms. Sandi Peach is a 1990 graduate of Jamestown High School, Jamestown, PA. Following High School she attended Edinboro University. She began her Lakeview career as first a substitute paraprofessional in the library, moving into the high school guidance secretary position before being transferred into the Middle School administrative assistant position in 2009.  In 2017 when the two school merged she became the Administrative Assistant to the Principal of Student Activities.
 
Ms. Peach resides in Jamestown. She has two grown children, Courtney, a 2010 graduate, who is employed through UPMC and is a CrossFit instructor at CrossFit Nameless and Zachary, a 2014 graduate, who serves in the Marine Corps. Sandi also works as a Licensed Massage Therapist for Vaughn Specific Chiropractic. In her free time she enjoys reading, spending time outdoors and her many pets.
